Launched in 1968 by Jil Sander, the fashion house presented its first women’s collection on Milchstrasse in Hamburg in 1973. The Collection featured luxury clothes for a new generation of businesswomen. In 1994 the brand’s first showroom opened in Milan, and later became the creative and operative headquarter of the group.
